On September 12, 2024, Walailak University held its annual general scholarship award ceremony for the 2023 academic year, benefitting 1,686 students. The total scholarship amount awarded was an impressive 83,582,370 baht, sourced from 164 different funding organizations. The ceremony took place at Hua Taphan Conference Room in the Walailak University Hospital.
Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, Acting President of Walailak University, presided over the event. He was joined by the scholarship sponsors who graciously presented the awards to the deserving students.
During the ceremony, Professor Dr. Sombat expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the scholarship donors for their continuous support.
