Between 13-22 November 2024, the Vice Dean of Walailak University International College (WUIC) was invited to participate in the Global Design & Media CoSpace project at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences in Germany. This prestigious project is funded by the DAAD.
During the visit, significant progress was made in fostering academic collaboration between Walailak University (WU) and RheinMain University. Over the past year, WU has actively engaged in faculty and student exchanges with its German counterpart. WUIC successfully facilitated the exchange of a student from WU’s School of Informatics, who is currently studying in Germany under this project scholarship. At the same time, WUIC is hosting four German exchange students for a semester, enriching its multicultural academic environment.
As part of the visit, the WUIC Vice Dean held a productive meeting with the Vice Dean of Wiesbaden Business School. Discussions centered on plans to jointly apply for funding to support the exchange of visiting professors. This initiative aims to bring WUIC lecturers to Germany to teach at Wiesbaden Business School, RheinMain University.
In addition, the Vice Dean was invited to deliver lectures on topics related to business administration, contributing to the academic development of Media students at RheinMain University.
