On November 15, 2024, the Center for International Affairs at Walailak University organized a cultural event to promote the Loy Krathong tradition for international students with a total of 19 international students participating.
The activity included a lecture on the history and significance of the Loy Krathong tradition, followed by a demonstration of how to make krathongs. Students had the opportunity to design and decorate their own krathongs. During the event, students engaged in cultural exchange by discussing and asking questions about traditions and cultures from their respective countries.
In the evening, the international students joined the university’s Loy Krathong celebration at the Thaiburi Building.
