🤩🥰Walailak University International College (WUIC) was honored to welcome distinguished delegates from the Business School of King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMILT) for a collaborative academic visit aimed at exchanging insights on international education and mobility.
The delegation was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sorasak Tangthong, Chairperson of the BBA International Program, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wanlop Writthym Buachoom, Acting Chief of Academic Programs in Business and Economics. Their visit formed part of an ongoing effort to strengthen academic networks and share best practices in managing international programs, enhancing faculty and student mobility, and driving global curriculum development.

Contributing to the rich dialogue, Asst. Prof. Dr. Trairong Swatdikun from the School of Accountancy and Finance, Walailak University, provided valuable perspectives that added depth to the discussion. His insights on international program strategy, quality assurance, and cross-institutional collaboration were greatly appreciated. WUIC extends its sincere gratitude to Dr. Trairong for his engagement and continued support.
During the session, KMILT representatives shared their experiences in internationalizing business education, including strategies for developing global partnerships and fostering meaningful cross-cultural student experiences. In return, WUIC highlighted its own achievements, presenting key milestones in its internationalization journey—such as the development of interdisciplinary academic programs, recruitment of international faculty, and comprehensive student support systems for global learners.
Following the academic discussions, WUIC hosted a campus tour for the KMILT delegation. A highlight of the visit was an excursion to Walailak Botanic Park (WBP), a unique learning space that underscores the university’s commitment to sustainability, biodiversity, and public engagement.
This academic exchange not only facilitated mutual learning but also reinforced the shared commitment of both institutions to advancing Thailand’s role in global higher education. The meeting served as a meaningful step toward future collaboration and the promotion of academic excellence through international partnership.
