Today, Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University, graciously hosted a luncheon and informal meeting with international students participating in exchange and internship programs at the university. The students included exchange participants from Russia and Kazakhstan, as well as internship students from Indonesia. Represented institutions were:
1. The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) (Russia)
2. Kazakh Abylai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages (Kazakhstan)
3. Baltic State Technical University (Russia)
4. University of 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya (Indonesia)
The luncheon took place at the Presidential Residence, providing a warm and welcoming setting for cross-cultural interaction.
Also in attendance were administrators and lecturers from Walailak University International College (WUIC), including Asst. Prof. Dr. Phatnarin Supakorn, Dean of WUIC, along with international college faculty members. The group engaged in friendly conversation and academic exchange with the students, reflecting the university’s strong commitment to internationalization and its continued efforts to foster global academic partnerships.
