On the evening of Friday, 22 August 2025, the School of Languages and General Education, in collaboration with the SOLGEN Student Club, successfully organized SOLGEN IDOL 2025 under the theme “A True Idol: Empowering with Self-Esteem.”
The event aimed to discover the ultimate English Cultural Ambassador who will represent the School in future activities and serve as a role model for fellow students across Walailak University.
This year’s winner was Ms. Pyae Paing-Hmue from the Walailak University International College (WUIC). The competition drew enthusiastic participation, with students from various schools attending the event to cheer and support the contestants.
The vibrant evening took place at the Bussarakham Room, located in the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Natural History Museum Building, Walailak University, and was filled with joy, encouragement, and cultural exchange.
