The Center for Cooperative Education and Career Development successfully hosted CWIE 2025 on 25–26 August 2025 at the Grand Fortune Hotel. The program gathered teachers from the Upper Southern Region together with representatives from the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) to advance the practice of Cooperative and Work-Integrated Education (CWIE).
Leading the program, Dr. Konrawan Rattanaburi and Dr. Chengxiang Ma facilitated a series of interactive workshops designed to strengthen participants’ understanding of CWIE principles. The sessions emphasized practical preparation for student visits in real workplace settings, equipping educators with strategies to provide effective academic supervision and foster strong collaboration with industry partners.
The event underscored MHESI’s commitment to building bridges between higher education institutions and the labor market, ensuring that CWIE enhances student employability while contributing to regional and national development.
CWIE 2025 concluded with a renewed call for cooperation among educators, employers, and communities, positioning Work-Integrated Education as a key driver of sustainable growth in Southern Thailand.
