Walailak University Bids Farewell to Exchange Students, Celebrating a Semester of Global Learning and Friendship

On September 22, 2025, Walailak University President, Prof. Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, gathered with WUIC faculty, staff, and 13 exchange students from three partner institutions: North-West Institute of Management of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (NWIM RANEPA), Baltic State Technical University "Voenmeh," and Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages, to celebrate the end of the semester. The event highlighted the achievements of the College over the past year and emphasized the importance of international collaboration, student engagement, and academic excellence.
During the gathering, the President expressed his gratitude to faculty and staff for their dedication and support, and encouraged students to continue striving for excellence in both academic and cultural experiences. Various presentations, awards, and cultural activities were showcased, reflecting WUIC’s commitment to nurturing global citizens and fostering meaningful connections across borders.
The ceremony concluded with a group photo, and the President presented souvenirs to the exchange students. Warm wishes for the exchange students’ continued success in their upcoming semester, along with hopes that they will return to Walailak University in the future, reinforcing the sense of community and shared purpose within Walailak University International College.
