On Sunday, 15 February 2026, the International College of Walailak University successfully organized the event “Cultural Trip at Khanom Beach”, bringing together 10 participants, including international lecturers and exchange students from Russia and Germany.
The group traveled to Khanom District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, to experience authentic Thai culture through hands-on learning activities. Participants observed traditional fishing practices at Ban Khao Ok Pier and gained insight into the local coastal way of life. They also enjoyed a boat trip to witness the rare pink dolphins, the iconic marine symbol of Khanom, in their natural habitat.
Beyond cultural exploration, students actively participated in a beach clean-up activity, helping to restore the shoreline and promote environmental sustainability.
This meaningful program reflects Walailak University’s commitment to global learning, cultural exchange, and social responsibility.
