On March 15, 2023, the Student Council of Walailak University organized the first "Walk’n Talk for Change" event. The event aimed to explore various problems related to student life at designated locations on campus, with the participation of university administrators, representatives from related departments, and student representatives.
The attendees included Associate Professor Dr. Voravuth Somsak, Vice President of Walailak University, along with the Head of the Student Development and Development Division and the Head of the Student Housing Section. The Property Management Center staff and alumni association representatives also joined the walk. The event provided an opportunity to discuss and find solutions for urgent problems and gather data for long-term systemic problem-solving.
Ms. Do Thien Trinh and Ms. Yin Min Thant were the WUIC representatives who joined this activity. During the walk, attendees suggested various problems and solutions, and the Student Council collected these issues to present to the relevant departments for further consideration and resolution. Participants expressed their appreciation for the event and its positive impact on their university experience.
