On Friday, June 7, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the WUIC and CAS organized the Tha Sala Global Neighbour’s English for Restaurant Professionals Workshop for local restaurants in front of Walailak University. This practical workshop aimed to enhance the English communication skills of restaurant staff, fostering better service for international customers.
The workshop featured insightful sessions led by distinguished speakers, Dr. Suchita Manajit, the Vice Dean of WUIC, and Dr. Konrawan Rattanaburi, the WUIC lecturer. They provided valuable tips and training on effective English communication specific to the restaurant industry.
Staff members from popular restaurants participated in the event, including Uburger (ยูเบอร์เกอร์), Charm Poon Halal Boat Noodles (ชามพูน ก๋วยเตี๋ยวเรือฮาลาล), Bunjerd (บรรเจิด), BABA Roti Chachak (บาบาโรตีชาชัก), Kor Kai Tiew Kai Toon (ก. ไก่ เตี๋ยวไก่ตุ๋น), and Rong Cha Ban Done (ร้านพี่แหลม).
Upon completion of the workshop, participants received a certificate of participation, marking their commitment to improving their skills and enhancing customer service.
