WUIC Supporting Staff Attended Cybersecurity
and Fraud Prevention Training

On April 22, 2025, the supporting staff of Walailak University International College (WUIC) participated in a training session on “Cybersecurity in the Workplace and Fraud Prevention,” organized by the Digital Technology Center. The event was inaugurated by Assistant to the President, Assistant Professor Dr. Nichanan Kittiphattanabawon, who honored the occasion as the chief guest. The training session was led by expert instructors, including Dr. Chirawat Wattanapanit, Acting Deputy Director of the Digital Technology Center, and Assistant Professor Dr. Thimaporn Phetkaew, Acting Director of the Digital Technology Center.
This training was conducted in line with the committee’s mandate to enhance understanding of laws, regulations, and notices related to workplace operations, as well as the knowledge needed for using technology effectively in professional and administrative roles.
A total of 113 employees attended the training onsite, while 621 participants joined the session online. The event aimed to empower staff with crucial knowledge and skills to prevent cybersecurity threats and fraud in the workplace, thus ensuring a safer and more secure operational environment at the university.
