Visa Information

All international students are required to obtain a Non-Immigrant ED visa before entering Thailand, not a tourist visa. A supporting letter from Walailak University will be provided to students after they are officially accepted for admission. This letter can be used when applying for the Non-Immigrant ED visa at the Royal Thai Embassy in the student’s home country.

A Non-Immigrant ED visa in Thailand, also known as a student visa, allows foreigners to pursue education, training, or internships at educational institutions in Thailand. This visa is issued for various educational purposes, including studying at universities, attending seminars, training programs, or internships.
