On 3–4 September 2025, Dr. Konrawan Rattanaburi from Walailak University International College, together with international students and the Academic Service Center, visited Lunburger and Pala Café to assess the English skills of restaurant employees. This follows the English training workshop held in July.
The Tha Sala – The Global Neighbor Project aims to enhance English proficiency in the local community, prepare businesses for international visitors, and support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including Quality Education (SDG 4), No Poverty (SDG 1), and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17).
The team conducted mock-up simulations covering greetings, order-taking, menu explanations, and allergen handling. They also presented English menu translations to help restaurants better serve international customers and expand their clientele.
