WUIC Lecturer Joins Cultuaral Diplomacy Initiative (CDI) Study Group at Tufts University
Dr Wasin Praditsilp, a WUIC lecturer in digital marketing & branding, BBA International Program, joined an online session: "Terminology & Theory of Soft Power" by Prof. Nicholas J. Cull, University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, on 7 October 2022. The session was held by Cultural Diplomacy Initiative (CDI) study group, the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, MA USA. The CDI members consist of artists, academics, entrepreneurs, and public and private practitioners and professionals from around the world who join, discuss, and share thier insights and experiences on soft power policy and practice.
Dr Wasin is an active CDI member since 2021 (since it was Soft Power and Cultural Diplomacy study group, Harvard Kennedy School of Government) since he is interested in strategic communication and international communication manangement. Dr Wasin conducts research pertaining to those topics, especially nation branding in the Thai context. The up-to-date knowledge and research trends gained from the CDI's online sessions are integrated in Dr Wasin's courese at WUIC, bringing the fresh and most recent knowledge to the students.
