Collaboration Between WUIC and University of Jember, Indonesia

Walailak University International College (WUIC) is pleased to announce a collaboration with the University of Jember, Indonesia, focusing on Muslim women's political engagement. The project, led by Dr. Wasin Praditsilp, Assistant Prof. Dr. Rosnida Sari and Aj. Medina Adulyarat, will compare Muslim women's political engagement in the conflicted areas of Aceh, Indonesia, and the three southernmost Provinces of Thailand.

Assistant Prof. Dr. Rosnida Sari will join WUIC as a visiting professor this August, contributing her expertise in sociology and knowledge of the Indonesian context. The collaboration aims to gain insights into Muslim women's political roles in conflicted areas and develop a joint paper based on their research findings.

This collaboration holds great promise for academic exchange and research collaboration between WUIC and the University of Jember. The project's outcomes will deepen our understanding of Muslim women's political engagement and provide valuable insights for conflict management strategies in conflicted-affected regions.

Stay tuned for updates on this exciting venture as it unfolds.
