As a fellow student at Walailak University International College, I had the pleasure and a great opportunity to be an exchange student at RANEPA, Saint Petersburg, Russia. From the moment I landed in Saint Petersburg, Russia, it was clear that I was eager to immerse myself in Russian culture and make the most of my experience.
Traveling to another country was one of the greatest feeling I felt. Traveling from one country to another felt awesome.
New Environment
Getting to experience new weather as well as living in such different conditions from where I usually lived.
New Language
One of the things that impressed me the most is knowing that Russian language is pretty similar to english. Having the opportunity to learn how to read Russian language was incredible. Despite it being difficult to learn, I manage to get the hang of it.
Activities
Speaking of international students, there are plenty of people from different part of the world coming to Russia to experience their culture. As an exchange student, I get participated in RANEPA international day.
Food & Friends
Of course, the most important thing about studying abroad is getting to try new foods and new places. I get to try new foods with some of out Russian friends that we met in Walailak. Was also a pleasure to finally have a chance to visit one of the most famous palace/museum.
