WUIC Embraces Eco-Consciousness in "WUIC Smile @ Banlaem Community" 27th September 2023
Walailak University International College (WUIC) reaffirmed its commitment to environmental awareness and community engagement by organizing the "WUIC Smile @ Banlaem Community" event on the 27th of September.
This unique event provided an exceptional opportunity for WUIC students to delve into eco-conservation and environmental education. The day was packed with enriching activities designed to connect students with nature while also giving back to the community.
The highlight of the day was the mangrove tree planting activity, where students actively participated in reforesting the coastal area of Banlaem. This hands-on experience allowed them to understand the vital role mangroves play in preserving coastal ecosystems and mitigating climate change.
One of the most anticipated activities was the mud spa adventure. Participants embarked on a short boat ride to the source of natural mud.
