On Friday, October 27, 2023, Walailak University International College (WUIC) embarked on an exciting field trip, a hallmark experience for the students enrolled in the Business Innovation and Startup Management as well as the Principles of Management classes. The objective of this field trip was to bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and the real-world application of business concepts by immersing students in the local community.
The students of WUIC were filled with anticipation as they set out for this educational adventure. Their destination was a local, forward-thinking cafe known as Aston Gilbert. Nestled amidst the natural surroundings, this cafe boasted a modern and futuristic design that seamlessly blended with the beauty of the environment. Upon arrival, students were greeted by the aromatic scent of freshly brewed coffee and the warm ambiance of the café.
At Aston Gilbert, the students had the unique opportunity to engage with local business owners, witnessing firsthand the dynamics of a thriving, contemporary business. The entrepreneurs shared their experiences, challenges, and success stories, giving students invaluable insights into the world of business innovation and management.
