In a resounding testament to the entrepreneurial spirit thriving at Walailak University International College (WUIC), Ms. Yin Min Thant, a dedicated student, has been selected to participate in the prestigious "Startup Ecosystem Exposure (SEE2024)" program. The event, hosted by Chulalongkorn University CU Innovations Hub in collaboration with the National University of Singapore, took place from January 7th to 13th, 2024, at the conference room on the 20th floor of Chamchuri Building 10.
The primary objective of the "Startup Ecosystem Exposure" initiative was to foster the development of students engaged in Entrepreneur clubs and business incubators within higher education institutions. These incubators are recognized as catalysts for expanding startup businesses and cultivating the entrepreneurial potential of students.
The week-long event was carefully crafted to raise awareness about entrepreneurship and establish an ecosystem conducive to startup ventures. This was achieved through a combination of knowledge exchange sessions and networking opportunities, facilitated by experienced speakers with a rich background in management and a deep understanding of running successful startup businesses.
A total of 98 participants were actively involved in the project, representing students from all nine higher education institutions affiliated with the network of business incubator units. Among them, 61 students hailed from various higher education institutions, while an additional 37 students joined from the esteemed National University of Singapore (NUS).
Ms. Yin Min Thant's selection for this program not only reflects her individual merit but also highlights the commitment of WUIC to nurturing entrepreneurial talents. The collaboration between Chulalongkorn University and NUS has created an enriching platform for students to learn, connect, and explore the dynamic world of startups.
